EDITOR'S NOTE

Still building. Still here.

We've covered stats (Issue 01), tone (Issue 02), and prep (Issue 03). This week — the moment itself. What actually happens in your head when a play goes wrong, and why you can't see it without help.

TOOL OF THE WEEK

Claude Vision — Screenshot Your Death, Ask Why

claude.ai

Here's the move: next time you die or lose a fight you didn't expect to, screenshot the moment — right before, right at, right after. Upload all three to Claude and ask: "Walk me through what was happening on screen in each of these and where the decision went wrong."

This isn't stats. This isn't tone. This is someone (something) looking at the exact frame with you and pointing at what your eyes skipped past in real time — positioning, cooldowns up, a minimap ping you didn't register.

Cost: Free

Works with: Any game you can screenshot

The move: Do this for your next 5 deaths. Not your best plays — your worst. That's where the edge is hiding.

THE EDGE

You can't self-scout in real time. Nobody can. Your brain is busy playing the game, not watching itself play the game.

That's why film review exists in every serious sport — someone outside the moment, looking at the moment. Most gamers never get that. They just remember losing and move on.

AI gives you that outside eye for free. Not to tell you your rank or your mood — to tell you what was actually on screen when it went wrong.

QUICK HITS

🎮 Try asking Claude to compare a screenshot of your loadout/build against a winning one from a pro replay — ask what's structurally different, not just "better."

🤖 Screen-record just your last 10 seconds before deaths this week (most capture software has a replay buffer). You don't need full VODs — you need the moment before impact.

📊 Keep it simple: one screenshot, one question, one answer. Don't overload the session — depth beats volume here.
